Chris Jackson has been the silent force and business adviser behind didlaw since its inception in 2008. Chris, American by birth but now British naturalised, is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. A former American footballer (centre) Chris had a long and illustrious college football career at SMU followed a brief foray in the NFL, which ended a year later when he was released by the Chicago Bears. But every cloud has a silver lining because Chris was soon working on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange as a financial trader. Chris has traded on many exchanges around the world including London, Singapore, New York and Chicago.
Chris is now devoting his full-time talents to taking didlaw in a new direction in 2015, going forward he will manage the consultants working for didlaw and the development of the business into new markets.
In 2015 Chris launched didlaw EDUCATION; delivering a top level annual conference schedule based around didlaw’s niche area of the law. This new direction for didlaw began with the first annual disability discrimination conference in March and with two more events now planned for October and March 2016, didlaw EDUCATION goes from strength to strength.
Chris enjoys shooting, fishing and the great outdoors. Keeping fit by swimming, cycling and long walks with his wife and dogs. Chris’s favourite hobbies are antiquing the London markets, cooking and entertaining for his friends and family. He recently completed the Cordon Bleu Intensive Course at Tante Marie.
