Laura graduated from the University of London with a first degree in English Literature and was then honoured to be sponsored through the College of Law by the Independent newspaper after winning a scholarship essay prize in 2000.

Laura worked at Freeths in Oxford and then at the Government Legal Department where she acted for the Lord Chancellor during UNISON’s challenge to employment tribunal fees in the Administrative Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

More recently as a Senior Associate at Slater and Gordon, Laura has dealt with a range of Claimant employment cases, developing a specialism in discrimination law before moving to Didlaw.

Her broad experience means that she can develop effective negotiation strategies for clients.

She thoroughly enjoys using her writing skills on behalf of clients in order to present their case effectively. This means listening from the outset of a case to draw out relevant details and ensure that clients are heard.

Laura enjoys listening to music in her spare time having spent some years singing in choirs.
