Karen represented a leading academic who had been dismissed for incapacity without the university seeking up to date medical information. Claims were issued in the Employment Tribunals for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination. Karen met with members of the university to conduct an appeal into the dismissal and later to secure agreed reasonable adjustments when the academic was successfully reinstated in post.
