Chief Operating Officer
Karen oversees the firm’s operations, being responsible for developing and implementing measures to better serve didlaw’s clients, as well as supporting the CEO and Managing Partner with business development and strategic planning.
Karen’s fascination with human behaviour has influenced her education and resulted in a distinctly wavy career path. Qualified as a solicitor since 2001, she has practised employment law in several commercial firms, lectured in employment law, managed an HR function in a law firm and worked for an employee survey software company. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (via the Experience Assessment route) and a Mental Health First Aider.
Before joining didlaw, Karen was CEO of renowned employment law advice charity Your Employment Settlement Service (YESS Law) from 2018 to 2025.
Karen is a proud mum to two fierce teenage girls and is attempting to defy the ageing process by running, cycling and weight training. She also loves live music, theatre, daytime discos and mocktails.
