Elizabeth represented the Manager of a high street supermarket who had been subjected to discrimination on the grounds of his sexual orientation. He was faced with a hostile working environment where his sexuality was discussed and ridiculed. This led to a mental health breakdown.
With the support of Elizabeth the client secured a significant settlement which allowed him to take time away from his career and recover. Elizabeth was then instructed by the same client some 15 months later as the same course of conduct repeated itself and given the close community of the supermarket industry, rumours had circulated. The client once again managed to exit with the support of Elizabeth. He has now secured his dream job in a totally different industry and could not be happier.
