Nazia Malik
Solicitor
Nazia qualified as an employment solicitor in 2024.
Nazia graduated from university with an Upper Second in Law (LLB (Hons) and then achieved a Distinction in her Master of Laws.
Nazia began her legal training at a trade union firm, OH Parsons, where she put in two years’ hard graft as a paralegal from Spring 2021 before securing a training contract and successfully qualifying into employment where she practiced before didlaw.
Throughout her years as a paralegal and trainee, together with her first year’s experience as an NQ Nazia has worked on a broad range of employment matters comprising independently managing and conducting Employment Tribunal cases from initial instruction to final hearing; drafting key legal documents; conducting her own advocacy at preliminary hearings in the Employment Tribunals; negotiating and settling claims. She regularly advises on settlement agreements and COT3s and analyses cases to determine their legal merits.
Nazia is an effective communicator who is able to build trust with clients despite her youth. She is passionate about supporting individuals facing injustice and discrimination in the workplace and prides herself on providing outstanding client service.
When she’s not lawyering, Nazia enjoys socialising with friends, mostly over food, and engaging in wellbeing practices. A fan of a spa day and a good walk, Nazia is an easy-going person who believes in treating everyone with kindness.
