How to Manage Workplace Conflict

Date: TBC
Course Length: Half Day

Why should I book this course?

Because it makes good business sense.

Conflict in the workplace is undeniably bad for business.

The workplace can be a hotbed of conflict.  If allowed to fester or escalate, conflict can be hugely disruptive and damaging to staff morale, motivation and productivity.  At their worst, conflict issues can find their way to the employment tribunal, leading to risky, costly and time-consuming litigation.

This seminar provides vital guidance for employers on how to deal effectively with problems such as bullying, harassment, personality clashes and other unacceptable behaviours at work.

What can I expect on the day?

During this half day seminar, you will learn:

  • Practical tips on nipping conflict in the bud before it escalates
  • How to have difficult conversations with your staff
  • Best practice for dealing with grievances
  • Ways to increase staff morale and motivation
  • When all else fails, how to have off-the-record discussions to terminate employment.

As with all didlawEDUCATION courses, our training is delivered in a friendly, un-stuffy manner using engaging case studies and mini-quizzes to test knowledge as we go along. This is a workshop style course with plenty of opportunity for discussion and interaction.

Where will the training take place?

We can accommodate groups of up to 15 delegates at our Offices in Covent Garden. Alternatively, we would be delighted to bring our workshops to you.  So, if you would prefer us to deliver the training at your offices, or if you would like a bespoke course for your organisation to take place at our offices on a different date, this can also be arranged.

Who would benefit most from this training?

This is an intermediate-level course which is geared towards line managers, HR managers, senior managers and business owners.  Pre-existing basic knowledge of grievances, discrimination and dismissal is useful, but not essential for this course.
